I am not a trader.
I am an enthusiast collector of bicycles who likes to buy the rarest ones and bring them back to the road.
If possible I prefer a conservative approach. However, if the conditions are very bad I am going for a restoration keeping as much as possible original parts and paint.
When receiving a new bicycle I always dismount it all and mount it again. I clean and oil all the original parts and change what does not work trying to respect as much as possible the era and the style of the bicycle. If not possible, I apply my taste which might not be the same of others.
I treat with the same care of my personal collection also the bicycles on sale, so no bollocks!
To become an expert on antique bikes is a long journey and everyday there is something to learn.
